What is an MCP server?

A small program that tells an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude what a business can do, and lets it do it. Build it once and every assistant that speaks MCP can use it.

How is a server checked?

Every 30 minutes we connect the way an assistant would: we open a session and ask for its list of tools. A server that answers is marked live, with its tool count and the time of the check. One that does not is marked as not answering.

Does a listing mean you vouch for it?

No. A listing means a person reviewed the submission and the server answered. Each server is run by its operator, under its own terms and licence.

Is it really free?

Yes. Listing is free, and so are the directory and its feeds. DouxProcess earns from building servers and back-office workflows for agencies, not from listings.
